Job Summary:The RN II in the PACU will provide high-quality patient care to patients undergoing anesthesia and/or surgery. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualized patient care based on the patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, language barriers, age, teaching needs, and readiness to learn.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Use autonomous practice to provide care and education to patients and families.
- Participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities and monitoring as requested.
- California RN License
- Successful mastery of nursing skills and knowledge related to a RN II position
- CPR certification
- Basic Computer Skills
- Basic EKG Course (within six (6) months of employment)
$74.03 per hour
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.
