We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Integrated Resources. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients, including administering aerosol medication, performing basic bedside pulmonary function testing, and managing airways.
Key Responsibilities- Administer standard Respiratory Care, including aerosol medication delivery, basic bedside pulmonary function testing, breathing exercises, oxygen therapy, arterial cannulation, and arterial punctures.
- Provide for all aspects of airway management, including aspiration of established airways, tracheostomy care, tracheostomy tube changes, endotracheal intubations, and extubations.
- Perform Pulmonary Function Testing as needed.
- Transport pediatric and neonatal patients from referral hospitals per UNC Air Care Protocol.
- Manage the Extracorporeal circulation for cardiac and respiratory support of patients when working with ECMO.
- Perform all aspects of ventilator care, including setting up the ventilator and verifying function using specialized ventilator modes to manage the patient's disease process.
- Provide for an appropriate monitoring of these patients and provide appropriate weaning techniques.
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board.
- Registered CRT or RRT.
- BLS certification.
- No prior experience required.
