As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Adult ICU/Critical Care department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient-Centered Care: Serve as a patient advocate, focusing on patient needs, rights, confidentiality, and religious and cultural preferences.
- Assess and Plan Care: Perform appropriate patient assessments, including continuous surveillance, and develop individualized plans of care.
- Implement and Evaluate Care: Implement orders in a timely manner, provide safe medical administration, and evaluate the effectiveness of care.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain Competency and Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments, advancements, and trends in nursing practice, and integrate knowledge gained into current work practices.
- Education: Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: Must have two years of ICU/CCU experience or have successfully completed an ICU/CCU Residency program and one year of ICU/CCU experience.
- Certification/Registration/Licensure: Must have current RN license or valid temporary permit with the Texas Board of Nursing, and current healthcare provider CPR course completion card from one of the following: American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
