- Set expectations regarding professional conduct and serve as a resource for the patient care unit.
- Hold direct and indirect care providers accountable for their professional responsibilities and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Manage the assigned inpatient and outpatient population, promoting integration of a seamless care model.
- Coordinate patient discharge planning for post-acute services, length of stay (LOS) management, and utilization management.
- Collaborate with the care team to optimize performance and adoption of best practices.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Licensure: Current licensure in the state of employment.
- Experience: 2-3 years nursing experience.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire/transfer.
