This role requires a skilled Mammography Technologist to work in Berkshire, Massachusetts.

Job Description

A Diagnostic Imaging position for a healthcare professional who can perform mammography procedures and contribute to a team of medical experts.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate mammography equipment, apply imaging protocols, and analyze results to facilitate accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality, adhere to infection control standards, and ensure proper operation of PACS and RIS computer systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals, supervise or instruct junior staff as needed, and maintain up-to-date skills and certifications.

Experience:

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience as a diagnostic technologist, preferably in mammography, or will undergo training to meet certification requirements.

Education and Training:

The candidate must hold a formal ACR-approved Radiologic Technology program certificate for radiology and mammography.

License, Certification & Registration:

ARRT(M) - Mammography-Unless Training and working towards certification
ARRT(RTR) - Registered Technologist Radiography
CPR - CPR Required
MALIC(R)(M) - Mass License in Radiography and Mammography (or working towards Mammography certification if training in this modality
