We are seeking a skilled Field Sugar Tester to join our team at E. & J. Gallo Winery. As a Field Sugar Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our grapes and contributing to the success of our winery operations.

• Operate and maintain equipment used for sugar testing and grape sampling.
• Collect and analyze grape samples to determine sugar content and quality.
• Communicate with growers and truck drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of grapes.
• Travel to grower vineyards to take samples and record sugar values.
• Examine grapes for signs of disease and advise management on necessary actions.
• Transport juice samples to the winery lab for analysis.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operations and high-quality products.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
