As a key member of our anesthesia department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive anesthetic care plans for pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Administer anesthetics and adjunctive medications to render patients insensible to pain, while monitoring their condition and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Conduct preoperative assessments, anesthetic management, and post-anesthesia care for pediatric patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Provide education and training to students, residents, and other healthcare professionals on pediatric anesthesia care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric anesthesia and incorporate evidence-based practices into your care.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and anesthesia.
- National CRNA certification and/or re-certification.
- Michigan license to practice as a registered nurse.
- Michigan Specialty Certification in Anesthesia.
- Current member of American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Masters degree in anesthesia or other related area, preferred.
