Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Spectraforce Technologies. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, utilizing high-frequency sound waves to produce images of the body's internal organs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on multiple areas of the body, including the abdomen, neck, chest, extremities, pelvis, and retroperitoneal space.
  • Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment, including portable and departmental units, to acquire high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Position patients for desired results, utilizing positioning cushions and privacy shields as necessary.
  • Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and tend to their comfort during the examination.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient examinations, including images and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training as needed.
Requirements:
  • Registered Ultrasound Technologist (RUS) certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in ultrasound technology, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound principles, equipment, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
