Position Overview

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds? Do you possess a positive demeanor and serve as a professional role model for children and their families? Cambria County Child Development Corporation is seeking part-time Child Care Teachers and Assistant Teachers for our educational centers.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Teacher or Assistant Teacher, you will be an integral part of a collaborative teaching team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and implementing engaging curriculum.
  • Managing daily operational activities within the classroom.
  • Designing and executing lesson plans that promote developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
  • Facilitating transitional activities that support children's growth.
  • Maintaining an optimal child-to-staff ratio to ensure safety and engagement.

It is essential to understand the various aspects of children's development—cognitive, social, emotional, and physical—to create a safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a minimum of a High School diploma or a General Educational Development Certificate (GED) along with at least two years of experience working with children. Additionally, candidates must be able to secure all necessary clearances.
