Position Summary:
The role involves preparing for fabrication tasks by reviewing blueprints, specifications, and parts lists; gathering necessary components, tools, and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret fabrication instructions and prepare materials according to work orders and fabrication sheets.
- Execute daily work orders, perform parts inspections, and carry out measurements and calculations for component sizes and placements.
- Ensure all fabricated parts meet specifications outlined in prints, worksheets, and shop drawings.
- Assemble components by verifying connections for proper fit and securely fastening parts and subassemblies.
Physical Requirements:
- The role demands physical stamina to engage in various warehouse activities, including prolonged periods of lifting, standing, and carrying.
