Position Overview

Role:

The Fuel Operations Technician is responsible for the safe and effective refueling of vehicles, generators, and various equipment during emergency response initiatives. This role is integral to our Emergency Response Cadre Team, providing essential fuel management services in areas impacted by disasters across the United States.

Location: To be determined based on operational needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize fuel dispensing systems to refuel vehicles, generators, and other machinery
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is fully operational
  • Coordinate necessary repairs and address mechanical challenges
  • Comply with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in the establishment and management of fuel stations
  • Maintain precise records of fuel consumption and inventory levels
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to facilitate fuel distribution
  • Provide daily reports detailing refueling operations

Qualifications:

A minimum of a high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required. Experience in fuel management or logistics is preferred. Candidates should possess strong mechanical skills and a commitment to safety. Ability to work extended hours in demanding environments is essential.

  • Familiarity with technology and digital devices
  • Experience in emergency response operations is advantageous
