About the Role
This position involves providing physical therapy services to patients, including restoring function, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities. As a Physical Therapist at Avera St Luke's-Therapy Center, you will demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served by Avera@Home.
Responsibilities
- Plan and administer medically prescribed therapy services in the home and healthcare facility setting.
- Restore patients' functions and alleviate pain through physical therapy services.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served by Avera@Home.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program of the American Physical Therapy Association preferred.
- One or more years of experience in-hospital Physical Therapy, long-term care, or outpatient therapy preferred.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Licensed by the State of South Dakota as a Physical Therapist required.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the states of Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, or North Dakota may be required depending on the service area.
Benefits
We offer a competitive pay package with hourly rates ranging from $36.75 to $55.50 per hour, dependent upon experience. Additionally, you can enjoy paid Time Off (PTO) available on Day 1, options for Free Health Insurance, and Student Loan Repayment opportunities. This position may be eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.
