Job Description:

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Nurse ICU Specialist to join our team. As a Travel Nurse ICU Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medical equipment
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in North Carolina
  • 2 years of experience in ICU nursing
  • CRRT, Vents, IV Start, Triage, PA Lines, Telemetry, Conscious Sedation, and EKOS skills
  • ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • PALS, CCRN, and TNCC certifications preferred

Unit Details:

  • Target Ratios: 1:2-3
  • Unit WILL NOT Accept 1st Time Travelers
  • Float Requirement: Will be required to float to Intermediate Stepdown, Cardiac Telemetry, and Medical units
  • Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per 6 week schedule
