Job Title: Instructor/Assistant Professor of Quantitative Methods

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Instructor/Assistant Professor of Quantitative Methods to join our faculty at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. The successful candidate will have expertise in quantitative methods for human subject studies with competence in both biomedical and psychosocial sciences research.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the Institute's teaching, research, and service missions.
  • Engage in scholarly work in collaboration with principal investigators at the Institute.
  • Teach introductory through advanced statistics courses and consult with faculty members on research projects.
Qualifications:
  • Earned master's degree required, in biostatistics, psychology, education, epidemiology, or a related field with a focus on methodology and statistics.
  • Extensive knowledge of research design and analysis for health sciences, clinical, psychosocial, and educational research.
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: measurement/psychometrics, big data, machine learning, health outcomes analysis, or health services research.
  • Proficiency in statistical software.
  • Experience in teaching analytical methods.
  • Demonstrated motivation to collaborate effectively as part of a scientific team.
  • Strong commitment to supporting student success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
