We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Room Behavioral Health department at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to patients with behavioral health needs, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses.
- Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
