Unit Summary:

MelroseWakefield Hospital's Emergency Department is a Level III accredited Trauma Center and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer:

  • Private exam, treatment, and observation rooms with space for family members to stay
  • A triage and fast-track area so patients can be treated as efficiently as possible
  • A modern imaging suite with CT scanners and X-ray capabilities
  • Neurology and neurosurgery services to evaluate and consult on your symptoms
  • When emergency cardiac care is needed, we are the only hospital in the area that offers an on-site cardiac catheterization lab

4 Bed Psych Holding Area

28 Bed ED

As a Registered Nurse, you will float between the two areas.

Hours:

36 hours/week Night Shift

7p-7a, Every Third Weekend

Qualifications:

  • RN Massachusetts license required
  • Associates required, Bachelors Preferred
  • BLS required
  • ACLS
  • 1-2 years experience preferred
