Overview:

RUSHKids Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Part-Time Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Lake Barrington, IL. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing, feeding disorders, speech and language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation, and phonological disorders.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs. Provide ongoing evaluation of patient's status and goals. Develop comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes. Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services. Attend appropriate clinical meetings to facilitate coordination. Provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients.

Qualifications:

Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study. State licensure/registration where appropriate. ASHA certification is required. 300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
