Job Summary

The Home Health Aide is a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, providing essential personal care services to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist, you will perform various tasks to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, back rubs, oral hygiene, and nail care.
  • Assist patients with dressing and undressing, as well as toileting activities.
  • Keep patient living areas clean and orderly, and plan and prepare nutritious meals.
  • Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, as ordered.
  • Assist patients with ambulation and exercise, and perform range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service.
  • Report on patient condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse.
Requirements
  • Must have successfully completed a training and competency evaluation program approved by the state.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
  • Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
  • Possess and maintain current CPR certification.
