About the Role:
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society - Mary Jane Brown long term care center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Provide resident-centered care, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing
- Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, transferring, and repositioning
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse
Requirements:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits
