Job Summary

BeLoved Hospice, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct care to terminally ill patients and their families, working under the supervision of a registered nurse and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, oral care, shaving, vital signs, and basic nail care
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, as needed
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Nurse Aide by the Oregon Board of Nursing
  • One year of experience as a CNA in hospice or home health care, preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate basic CNA qualifications and pass initial direct and indirect supervision competency items
  • Reliable transportation and auto insurance
  • Successful completion of background check
  • CPR/First Aid certification
