Compensation Specialist

The Payroll Coordinator position is a vital role within Colwen Hotels, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple hotel locations. This key position supports the company's commitment to operational excellence and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll and routine requests in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the payroll processing company to resolve outstanding issues and ensure seamless operations.
- Manage multi-state payroll for hotels as needed, providing expertise and guidance to ensure compliance.
- Partner with hotels to address payroll-related concerns and deliver timely resolutions.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting of payroll transactions, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- 1+ years of experience in payroll administration or a related field.
- Proficiency in UKG payroll/HRIS systems and knowledge of multi-entity payroll, labor, and tax regulations.
- Hotel industry experience preferred, but not required.
