Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer/Engineer to join our Compliance, Surveillance & Supervision team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and integrating tools and technologies that support our Compliance, Surveillance & Supervision area.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and implement robust and maintainable data pipelines and data analytics engines
* Integrate upstream systems within the bank with a core product
* Collaborate with the team to ensure all Regulatory, Compliance, and Internal Audit obligations are met

Requirements:

* 8+ years of experience in senior software engineering roles
* Strong background in Application Architecture, Design / Deployment and Testing, Product Certification, Real-time Event Driven Systems, Application Integration, Application Monitoring and Management, Databases and Application Integration with knowledge of Java, JMS, Pythion, REST, and SQL
* Excellent technical leadership skills and a strong emphasis on quality and best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

* Business knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Capital Markets, Compliance, AML, Trade Surveillance and Supervision
* Experience in Java and some Python, building, unit testing, delivering and productionizing scalable and distributed systems
