About the Role

Clarvida - West Virginia is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide direct, hands-on services to clients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respite care and temporary supervision for clients who require short-term coverage.
  • Implement behavior support plans and medical plans of care.
  • Assist clients in acquiring and maintaining independent living skills through person-centered supports.
  • Support clients in competitive paid employment in integrated community settings.
  • Transport, document, and provide medication to clients, as supervised by a staff RN.

Requirements
  • Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks in accordance with Federal and State requirements
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active CPR and First Aid Certification
