Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team in a 1st shift position. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with clerks from other floor areas, updating area or shift metrics, and generating reports and summaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer, and/or other suppliers as needed.
  • Update area or shift metrics using the location's WMS system.
  • Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports, memos, and summaries of a technical and/or confidential nature.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks for the area or shift, including maintaining filing systems and documents.
  • Gather and provide information to floor employees in your area of support.
  • Coordinate activities, meetings, and communication for the specific area or shift.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year or more of clerical or warehouse experience preferred.
  • One year or more of experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
  • One year or more of Microsoft Office experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates customer service skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
