The Preschool Cook is a vital member of our culinary team, responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks to our young students. This role requires a strong focus on food safety, sanitation, and presentation, as well as the ability to plan and execute menus that meet the dietary needs of our children.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare meals and snacks in accordance with CACFP requirements.
- Submit food and supply orders in a timely manner to ensure seamless meal preparation.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop food activities and educational programs for the children.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to local and state health department standards.
- Assist with nutrition education and training for staff and parents.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Meet HHS minimum education and experience requirements.
