Position Overview

The Space Intelligence Operations Analyst will lead a dynamic team of both Government and Contractor professionals, tasked with monitoring, analyzing, and synthesizing all-source intelligence to support the Space Warfighting Mission. This role is crucial in delivering timely and relevant intelligence to senior decision-makers, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary insights for tactical and operational planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and guide a team of analysts in conducting comprehensive research and analysis on counterspace threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Input data into intelligence products and tools that detail adversary capabilities and operational status.
  • Identify and assess relevant indications and warnings related to threat systems, differentiating between training exercises and actual operations.
  • Generate daily intelligence briefings that summarize the current global landscape, national security priorities, and counterspace threats.
  • Develop customized intelligence reports for government stakeholders.
  • Respond to critical information requests and contribute to the production of finished intelligence.
  • Define and evaluate threat concepts related to various systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate with intelligence, acquisition, and industry partners to enhance operational effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience in intelligence analysis, including all-source analytic production.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing analytical teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in reviewing and providing feedback on junior analysts' intelligence outputs.
  • Demonstrated capability in producing intelligence assessments and briefings for senior officials.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in all-source analysis and familiar with intelligence tools and data sources.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to maintain analytical production.
  • Experience with orbital mechanics and DoD/intelligence spacecraft operations.
  • Minimum of 3 years in space intelligence analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education/Experience

A bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with a minimum of 8 years of related experience. Candidates without a degree must have a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.

Clearance Requirement

A TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly is required for consideration.
