As a key member of the healthcare team, the successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and manage critically ill patients requiring intensive hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and multiple drug infusions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-advocacy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible.
- 1 year of IMCU, Stepdown, Med/Surg, or ICU experience, with good cardiac knowledge.
- BSN or MSN preferred; new hires without a BSN will be required to sign a BSN Agreement.
