Position Overview
The student will provide assistance to the archives team in various operational tasks related to the management of archival materials.

Primary responsibilities will include data entry to facilitate the creation of online finding aids for collections, along with scanning and editing images.

Additional duties may encompass responding to phone inquiries, organizing files, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Qualifications for this role include a comfort level with phone communication and collaboration with colleagues and the public; strong typing skills; the ability to read cursive handwriting; capability to work autonomously and resolve issues; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is advantageous; and data entry constitutes a significant aspect of this position.

Work hours are flexible within the operational schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; please note that evening and weekend shifts are not available. This position may also be offered in the subsequent academic year.
