Wire Cutter Operator

Eckart, LLC is seeking a skilled Wire Cutter Operator to join our team. As a Wire Cutter Operator, you will be responsible for cutting wire and cable with the use of machines, ensuring accuracy and quality of cuts. You will also be responsible for measuring and bundling wires and cables appropriately for job orders, working with installation teams to ensure they receive the correct wires for assembly, and performing other related duties as required.

• Operate cutting machines to cut wire and cable with high accuracy and quality.
• Measure and bundle wires and cables according to job orders.
• Work with installation teams to ensure they receive the correct wires for assembly.
• Unload and load materials, move waste or materials to the proper locations, and verify equipment is working properly.
• Coordinate communications with Inventory, Operations, Purchasing, Scheduling, Accounting, and Program Management.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

• Experience working in wire and warehouse settings.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret customer-supplied documentation, such as auditing materials.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to work in various plant-level environments.
