About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Junior Database Administrator to join our team at Christian Healthcare Ministries. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our databases, supporting our mission to glorify God and show Christian love through health cost sharing.

As a key member of our database management team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, develop your technical skills, and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain database systems, including database installation, configuration, and backup procedures.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation for database systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize database performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams, network administrators, and other departments to support database requirements for various applications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or others).
  • Familiarity with database design, normalization, and indexing.
  • Expert-level knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows Server) used in database management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Superb communication and collaboration skills.
