Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at the UW Health Breast Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with breast cancer and other breast conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive care to breast patients through prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
  • Work collaboratively with breast cancer patients and families to provide education and coordinate care.
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary team that includes genetic counselors, breast surgeons, plastic surgeons, medical oncologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, and advanced practice providers.
  • Use targeted assessment skills to assess patients during visits and via telephone triage.

Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • 6 months of RN experience.
  • Relevant inpatient RN experience.
  • Ambulatory experience.
  • Relevant oncology experience.
  • Chemotherapy experience.
  • Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills.
