At Norman Regional Health System, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Cath Lab. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients in a state-of-the-art facility.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and has excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a procedural area, preferably in a Cath Lab setting.
Responsibilities:- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and perform various tasks as delegated by Charge person or manager.
In addition to your clinical expertise, we value your ability to work collaboratively with our team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists to deliver exceptional patient care. Your strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership will be essential in facilitating excellent patient outcomes.
Requirements:- Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiologic Technology and/or RCIS certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained through re-training during employment.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
