Key Responsibilities- Board Bringup: Develop and implement efficient board bringup processes to ensure seamless integration with our software stack.
- Driver Development: Design and develop reliable drivers for various operating systems, ensuring high-quality code and optimal performance.
- Firmware Development: Write high-assurance firmware to achieve required integrity levels for safe vehicle operation, leveraging your expertise in C/C++ programming.
- Debugging and Troubleshooting: Utilize debuggers and logic analyzers to diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
- Collaboration: Interface with hardware and automation teams to enable scalable testing and ensure seamless integration with our software stack.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Programming Skills: Strong background in C/C++ programming for embedded Linux or micro-controllers, with experience using measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Low-Level Interfaces: Experience with low-level interfaces such as I2C, SPI, CAN, RS232, Ethernet, and ability to efficiently collaborate with multidisciplinary program members.
- Additional Qualifications: Experience implementing safety-critical, high-reliability, or fault-tolerant software, real-time operating systems (POSIX, QNX, FreeRTOS), and digital signal processing.
Zoox offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary range of $170,000 to $240,000, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including paid time off, health insurance, long-term care insurance, long-term and short-term disability insurance, and life insurance.
