Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hemodialysis Technician to join our team at Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our dialysis team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dialysis professionals in delivering dialysis services to patients with acute or chronic renal failure.
  • Support patients with ambulation, positioning, and lifting, as needed.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment by maintaining accurate records and performing selected clerical duties.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Dialysis technician experience preferred, with CNA experience considered an asset.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic for recording patient information.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on maintaining courteous relationships with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to perform selected clerical duties.
