About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and developing complex mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply advanced engineering principles and techniques to support the design and development of mechanical systems
  • Conduct thorough analysis and testing to ensure system performance and safety
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical systems design and development
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Thermal Analysis
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing development using SolidWorks
  • Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing systems for US Army rotorcraft, missile systems, or ground vehicles
  • Experience with Army Aviation airworthiness standards
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
