Job Summary:
Avera Queen of Peace is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to serve as a House Supervisor. This role is responsible for providing supervision, direction, and coordination of clinical staff and activities in the absence of the director(s).
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Coordinate activities and prioritize tasks to meet departmental goals and objectives.
- Perform nursing duties, including patient care, as needed, in the acute care units or Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
Requirements:
- Licensed Registered Nurse in South Dakota.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience in acute care, Emergency Department, home health, hospice, community health, oncology, and/or long-term care.
- Basic Life Support, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification is mandatory within six months of employment. TNCC optional.
Work Schedule:
7:00pm-7:00am; PRN, as needed.
