Vehicular Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Vehicular Mechanic to join our team at Mavis Tire Supply in the Latham, NY area. As a key member of our undercar repair team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various automotive systems, including brakes, struts, and shocks.

As an experienced Vehicular Mechanic, you will have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates your ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

The estimated salary for this role is $48,000 - $68,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer excellent benefits, including health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and advancement.

To be eligible for this position, you must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess a valid state inspection license and ASE certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5). You must also be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair.
