Speech Coach

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Coach to join our team at Hinton Community School District. As a Speech Coach, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our students in the art of public speaking, debate, and communication.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive speech program that fosters the growth and development of our students.
• Provide coaching and guidance to students in the areas of public speaking, debate, and communication.
• Organize and supervise speech competitions and events.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech and communication skills into the curriculum.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, community organizations, and businesses to promote our speech program.
• Recruit and manage a team of assistant coaches and volunteers to support the speech program.
• Manage the budget and resources for the speech program.
• Ensure compliance with all district and state regulations regarding speech and communication programs.

• Master's degree in Speech, Communication, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in speech coaching or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in developing and implementing speech programs.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and staff.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

The Speech Coach will work primarily on campus, with occasional travel to competitions and events. The position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
