Job Summary:
A motivated and detail-oriented Automation Systems Engineer is sought by our dynamic engineering team to work on a variety of state-of-the-art building automation systems in the Virginia Beach area. The successful candidate will provide service and customer support during site visits, manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks, and diagnose errors or technical problems to determine proper solutions.

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), building management systems (BMS), HVAC systems, and controls. Key responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing building automation, HVAC, and control systems in commercial and industrial settings, providing technical support to customers, troubleshooting and repairing system problems, and ensuring optimal system performance.

Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Building Automation Service Technician or in a similar role is required. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical clients, are essential. A valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as needed are also necessary. Certification or a degree in a related field is preferred.
