At Fanatics, we're seeking a highly skilled Assistant Imaging Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our pre-press department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the visual quality and accuracy of trading card artwork before it goes to print.
Key Responsibilities:- Imaging Oversight: Oversee the intake of imaging assets, including color correction, image enhancement, and compositing.
- File Preparation: Collect and optimize images, ensuring they are in the correct format, resolution, and color profile.
- Quality Control: Review and approve retouched files, ensuring they meet the quality and accuracy standards required for production.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams to manage retouching schedules and workflows.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide status updates.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of retouching processes and prepare reports on project status and performance metrics.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in pre-press, graphic design, or retouching, preferably in the trading card or similar industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of color theory, image editing techniques, and print production processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
