Role Summary
The Fitness Coordinator will manage the daily operations of the fitness program, ensuring a high-quality experience for our clients. This role involves supervising clients during fitness activities and maintaining gym equipment to support their wellness journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide clients in safe and effective exercise practices.
- Assist clients in reaching their fitness objectives.
- Ensure clients leave fitness sessions feeling revitalized and positive.
- Follow established protocols and submit work in a timely manner.
- Enforce company policies and procedures diligently.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required.
- Maintain equipment in a clean and organized manner.
- Report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to scheduled session times, starting and finishing punctually.
- Complete necessary documentation for any incidents.
- Educate clients on safe exercise techniques.
- Tailor instruction to meet the varying abilities of clients.
- Foster a professional demeanor towards clients and colleagues.
- Project a healthy and professional image through attire and conduct.
Position Type
This is a part-time role.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Recreational Therapy, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical fitness environment is required.
- Experience with issues related to chemical dependency, eating disorders, trauma, and pain is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years of sobriety is required.
