Job Overview

As a Mixologist, you will be essential in crafting and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process orders from guests and waitstaff.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks as requested.
  • Ensure that garnishes and other ingredients are prepped before service begins.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
  • Present glasses and liquor bottles in an appealing manner.
  • Keep the bar stocked with snacks for patrons.
  • Verify that customers meet legal drinking age requirements by checking identification.
  • Handle financial transactions for drinks served.
  • Exercise sound judgment in refusing service to intoxicated or disruptive patrons when necessary.
  • Order or create requisition forms for bar supplies as needed.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of drink preparation and service.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain composure when addressing unruly or challenging patrons.
  • Learn and operate cash register software utilized by the bar.

  • Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations involving difficult patrons.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to cash register systems.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of mixology or bartending training is required.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods while preparing drinks.
  • Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds.
  • Must be of legal drinking age.
