We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Heart Failure Clinic team in Dover, New Hampshire. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure efficient patient flow through the office, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Assist during office visits, including rooming, EKGs, reconciling medication lists, and updating patient histories and allergies.
  • Perform clinically appropriate tasks related to patient panel management, including phone calls, test results, prescription refills, and coordination of care.
  • Maintain neat, clean, and safe patient care areas, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Provide exceptional patient communication and interaction, ensuring a positive experience for all patients and families.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of Medical Assistant School/Program or equivalent training within the discipline of EMT or equivalent military training.
  • OR currently working as a Medical Assistant with a minimum of one year of experience.
  • Six months experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Must obtain a national Medical Assistant certification within 1 year of employment.
  • AHA or ARC BLS within 90 days of hire.
