Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of technical and professional duties utilizing complex imaging equipment to produce quality radiographic images.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality and efficient diagnostic radiographic examinations, utilizing appropriate protocols and age-specific standards.
- Operate radiographic equipment to ensure proper technical results.
- Prepare examination rooms to ensure a clean and safe environment with adequate supplies to assure efficient and accurate performance of exams.
- Perform quality and compassionate patient care, utilizing appropriate age-specific standards, to ensure patient cooperation, safety, and satisfaction.
- Accurately edit and complete all examinations in Imagecast to ensure proper medical record documentation and billing.
- Participate in various teaching and/or learning opportunities in order to further his/her own personal knowledge and to assist in expanding the knowledge of others.
- Graduation from an A.M.A. approved Radiologic Technology program.
- Demonstrated technical skills to meet entry-level standards of routine radiography.
- RT(R) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Connecticut State License, and CPR Certification.
