Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Tech to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out ultrasound procedures under the direction of the Director/Supervisor and with medical direction of the radiologist.
  • Maintain related records and provide technical instruction to students and hospital staff.
  • Provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting studies.
  • Transport patients to and from Radiology as needed.
  • Inform patients of examinations being performed and obtain consent to perform procedure.
Requirements
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • Must be ARDMS registered in vascular technology or obtain within 24 months of hire.
  • Prefer prior sonography experience.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of radiation safety standards.
  • Must be certified in Basic Life Support.
  • Must be able to provide direction to and supervision of other employees.
