Phlebotomy Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Labcorp. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accuracy of laboratory results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Process and prepare specimens for testing and analysis
- Enter patient information into our database with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide superior customer service to patients and colleagues alike
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and billing
- Travel to additional sites as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist or in a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
