Job Description

Bambini Montessori Academy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans that support age-appropriate academic and values curricula in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with our curriculum and meet the needs of our students
  • Use regular observations and assessments to individualize learning experiences and ensure student progress
  • Lead classroom management, including preparing supplies, cleaning, transitions, and supervision
  • Coordinate efforts with the teaching team to ensure proper student instruction and social interactions
  • Build positive relationships with parents and serve as a resource to support their child's education
Requirements:
  • High School diploma required with an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or Child Development Associate (CDA) certification (or at least 12 college credits in Education)
  • 45 hours of Child and Growth Development training
  • 45 hours of Curriculum training
  • Experience working in education, with a focus on early childhood education
  • A love for children and a strong desire to make a positive impact every day
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 45 pounds, engage in physical activity with children, and work indoors or outdoors
  • Ability to constantly move and interact with children to provide stimulation and develop relationships
  • Ability to alternate between sitting and standing frequently
  • Ability to maintain sight and sound of children at all times
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Pass pre-employment screenings and trainings as required
