  • Renewal and Implementation: Work closely with firm partners on the renewal process, including plan negotiations, and manage the implementation of new benefits programs.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Ensure all benefits plans comply with federal, state, and local regulations, and stay informed of changes in the benefits landscape.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any client issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Client Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations on benefits strategies, plan performance, and industry trends.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market changes to provide clients with informed recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Active life & health insurance license.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in employee benefits account management, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits plans, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability.
  • Strong client relationship management skills with a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with benefits administration platforms, especially EASE.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CEBS, PHR) are a plus.
