Accountant Job Description

Paradigm Oral Health is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records.

Responsibilities:
  1. General Accounting Duties:
  • Maintain the general ledger, prepare financial reports, and manage accounts.
  • Ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare periodic balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
  • Provide insights into the organization's financial health.
Accounts Payable:
  • Code invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and close monthly books.
Bank Reconciliation:
  • Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits, and address inquiries from banks.
  • Ensure accuracy in bank transactions.
Assisting Auditors:
  • Provide assistance to external auditors during audits.
  • Ensure compliance and transparency.
Excellent Communication:
  • Collaborate effectively with Practice Administrators and external auditors.
Software Coordination:
  • Coordinate with software vendors to maintain the accounting software system.
  • Recommend updates to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Overall Contribution:
  • Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • One year of accounting experience.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting.
  • Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Highly proficient with accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, NetSuite, Bill.com or similar software.
