Next Move Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med-Surg unit. As an Advanced Practice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to specialize in medical-surgical telemetry, focusing on monitoring patients with complex health conditions such as heart failure, diabetes, and gastrointestinal diseases.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical-surgical telemetry environment and possess strong clinical skills with the ability to monitor and care for patients with complex medical conditions.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans, assessing patients, making nursing diagnoses, and leading care teams within the clinical setting across a 12-bed unit designed for overflow patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement total nursing care for patients based on thorough assessments and diagnoses.
  • Provide leadership and collaborate with ancillary nursing staff and other patient care team members.
  • Maintain high standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical environment.
  • Monitor patients using telemetry equipment to track vital signs and physiological parameters.
  • Care for a diverse patient population across all life stages from infants to geriatrics.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse license required.
  • Experience in a medical-surgical telemetry environment preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and potentially high-pressure environment.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to monitor and care for patients with complex medical conditions.
